The opioid crisis is so widespread that it can no longer be overlooked. Musicians for Overdose Prevention located in Black Mountain, NC, is dedicated to distributing Narcan/Naloxone, a life-saving opioid-blocker, to performing artists and the presenting venues that support them. With your help, we can expand their impact even further in 2025. Free Naloxone kits will be distributed to session attendees along with training on how to administer the medicine in an emergency situation.

Arts Advocacy in a Politically Charged Climate

This session will provide NCPC members with updates on federal and state ticketing legislation designed to increase transparency, protect consumers from counterfeit and overpriced tickets, and hold illegal ticket sellers accountable. Additionally, the session will equip arts professionals, educators, and artists with strategies to effectively advocate for the arts in today's politically charged climate.
