About: The newly renovated Sarah Belk Gambrell Center for the Arts and Civic Engagement reopened in February 2020 as a home for the arts programs of Queens University. About: The Alhambra Theatre’s marquee first brightened Hopkinsville’s Main Street on May 28, 1928, just a year before the Great Depression, as an invitation to be entertained and to share memorable experiences with friends and neighbors. Multiple renovations to the theatre have been completed with the last major renovation in November 2018, including redesigning the lobby while maintaining architectural elements and concepts and adding state-of-the-art stage lighting, a new stage floor, curtains, sprinkler systems, handicap-accessible bathrooms and other features the original layout did not offer. The renovation also included an expansion of the theater’s square footage into the building’s second floor, which is now called The Hall at the Alhambra and has a bar and seating for about 80 people.

Community Offerings: Programming includes the Live at the Alhambra series which features a wide variety of artists, including, but not limited to, tribute artists, dance troupes, and comedians. Our programming also includes the smARTS series, which features educational cultural arts performances selected to complement and enrich the classroom experience offered to students in the community.

About: The Etherredge Center houses a 687-seat proscenium theatre and the 100-seat O’Connell Theatre. The two-floor lobby holds art galleries in which receptions, info fairs, and presentations can be held. The Etherredge hosts a wide variety of local music, dance and theatrical talent.

Community Offerings: Every year the Etherredge Center hosts the Cultural Series, a six-performance series of talent from all art disciplines from around the world. These performances could be from jazz to country to classical, Japanese drumming, circus acts, or Shakespeare! The annual Carolina Series highlights three artists from South Carolina in performances or gallery installations.

About: The Maurice K. Townsend Center for the Performing Arts (TCPA) is the performing arts center for the University of West Georgia, opening in 1989 as the Performing Arts Center for the then West Georgia College. When it opened, the TCPA was the first performing arts center in the west Georgia region, giving the residents of the surrounding community and college students a state-of-the-art venue to see top tier performances without having to travel to Atlanta. The TCPA consists of a 450 seat Main Stage Theatre and a 160 seat Black Box Theatre. The Townsend Center provides a wide variety of programming to the West Georgia region, consisting of a mix of a cappella, dance, classic rock, country, jazz, puppets and bluegrass. The TCPA also provides a home to both the theater and music departments for the University of West Georgia and for many local performances and recitals.

About: The Pawleys Island Festival of Music & Art is a 3 week outdoor festival held under a performance tent that seats 1000. We provide stage, lights and sound as well as a beautiful venue situated on a luxurious private golf course. We also present 3 performances in February in an enclosed venue, The Village House, that seats 225.

Community Offerings: We present every genre of performance to our community along with outreach is possible into the schools K-12.

About: Our outdoor concert venue is the Pavilion at Shrine Mont, a beautiful historic retreat and conference center in Orkney Springs, Va. The venue’s location at the foot of Great North Mountain provides a stunning backdrop for our evening concerts, and its modest size allows for great views of the stage from both the pavilion and lawn seating areas.

Community Offerings: We present a summer concert series featuring artists from of variety of genres including pop-rock, country, Americana, bluegrass, Motown, R&B, and symphonic music.
